Among the services that will see a price jump are: Priority Mail, USPS Ground Advantage, Express Priority Mail, Flat-Rate Priority Mail, and Priority Mail Express Flat Rate.

Shipping services will increase by about 3.2 percent for Priority Mail services and Priority Mail Express services, 3.9 percent for USPS Ground Advantage and 9.2 percent for Parcel Select.

The adjustment aims to cover extra handling costs and ensure a successful peak season, the Postal Service said.

The priority mail flat rate also decreased by about 1.7% beginning in January. A full list of the changes going into effect in July can be found at www.usps.com.
